Bachna ayee Haseeno. We have loads and loads of haseeno in this film, that is my forte. I love watching lovely faces, you have Bipasha Basu, Deepika Padukone and Mannisha Lamba.
Ok Manisha Lamba is not so hot, but who says every female in this film must look as hot as Deepika, ok the story of our film is very simple and very
Small, like the other day a reporter was asking a producer of film on news channel can you tell me the story of your film in 3 words. This film has such
A very short story, the boy (Ranbir Kapoor) has a roving eye for females and he achieves success in small amounts and one day he falls hopelessly for the girl DEEPIKA PADUKONE (short main role).
Actually Ranbir Kapoor is narrating his 3 love stories of his life in the beginning, lets just say Ranbir Kapoor has a great body and can dance very well
and looks handsome, he lacks the right expressions for different times in the story, he cannot express emotions with his face, that is very important to
keep the audience glued to the screen, but being the son of such versatile actors like Randhir Kapoor and Neetu Singh, he should have taken actings most
important lesson at home, but alas he has not. The film opens with his fathers song Bachna aye Haseeno, Lo mein aa gaya, that is the limit of what Ranbir
Kapoor bought from his actors home and his long line of actors relatives.
I loved the part where Ranbir Kapoor goes to ask forgiveness from Sheriya (Bipasha Basu) in Italy. I just loved the way she makes him sweat to earn his
forgiveness, there comes a time in life you will have to go back and correct the worngs you have done. Nobody in this world is free from his sins, they
come back to haunt you and they will dig a big bore in you all your life long.
It is always better to correct the wrongs done by you in this life time only, this point in the story line was very much appreciated by me, over all I
can praise the looks and expressions of Deepika Padukone for a long time to come even though her role was very short for my comfort, but Bipasha has a
meaty role and she did justice to all the shots, she was magic on the screen like always.
I wont advise to see it again, the part where the love story of Manisha Lamba was covered is a drag because it was a shameless copy of Shahrukh Khan's
film DDLJ, why will audience want to see the same sequences again done by new actors when they were done so perfectly by Kajol and Shahrukh before.
Overall you can watch this film once, you will enjoy the songs and the few dance steps of Ranbir Kapoor.
Yo ! film making is becoming a big drag these days!!
