Never had been an Indian movie so much loved, so much accepted by almost the complete territory of India(in every state that it was released), USA, UK, UAE, Nepal, etc. The reason for such a huge turnout is simple: The director stuck to the basic and most common human emotions that are universal and not limited to any particular area or language. More than the graphics, it is the story and the story telling ability of Rajamouli that takes your breath away. With watching multiple times. It gets better with each watch!
