Azhar movie is based on the story of Real life Incidents of Azharuddin cricketer.
Emraan hashmi is playing the main lead role in the Movie.The movie is revolving around the Match fixing incident which was held in the period of Azharuddin's captaincy and the movie is showing that match fixing is done by Azhar or not.
Story starts with grandfather and azhar and grandfather was shown motivating azhar in his childhood to play cricket with full dedication.when ever people discourage him azhar recalls the memory of his grandfather and keeps motivating himself.one day his grandfather was seriously ill and there was a big match for him where selectors was gooing to come but azhar refuses to play but his grandfather forced him to play and he went and played there a good cricket as the result he was selected for the Indian cricket team.but his grandfather dies and leave the world.because of his good innings he was also selected as the captain of India and there his team mates becomes jealous and one fine day he meets with the bookie and the bad time of azhar starts from there.
Emraan and Prachi desai had done the good job and justified the role in the Movie but the Big Lip girl Nargis Fakri looks ugly with Big lips and she didn't justified the role at all.she may be taken just because she is bold and din't mind to remove clothes.
Lara dutta played a very good role in the movie she justified her character a lot and she is perfect at her place.
Music is good.I liked the 2 songs i.e Bol do na zara and Itni si baat these two are very good and melodious.Again we got nice songs from Emraan movie.
Shocking scene was given in the movie that cricketers were having extra marital affairs in their time and it is really shocking.movie is ok but not the best we dnt know whats the reality is whether he took money or not no one knows that.The main usp is only emraan hashmi in the movie and nothing else.you can go and watch this movie but now its better to watch sarbjit instead of azhar because sarbjit movie looks more real and true story.
