Hi I am Viral Halatwala belongs to Surat, Gujarat. My wife has saving account in Axis bank. On 2nd August' 17 at 1:38 PM in morning, I have applied for online application to subscription the IPO of SIS. Where on the first time of online application it give me error message that we find difficult to fill your application form and no application number is generated for that attempt also redirect me on the error page. later on again I try to feel the application and this time too same error came.
But when I checked the account balance then I found that both the times amount was blocked( 14670+ 14670=29340 Rs). When I checked the same in IPO Status Inquiry menu by selecting today date, again it redirect me to Error page. Again, I have login into Net banking and found in IPO Status Inquiry menu that both the applications are accepted status is displayed as Processing.
Due to the on same PAN+ BOID if multiple application is found for IPO subscription then bidding for both application is rejected hence to avoid this IPO Withdrawal request is available in net banking where one can withdraw the blocked amount from one application form. But when click on that in All available IPOs list, SIS IPO is not mentioned where only Cochin Ship Yard IPO is mentioned. Hence, to unblocked my excess amount have called to customer care but in their IVR option there is no selection is available for Dmat Account / Investment options related query. Even though there is no option available directly talk to customer executive.(as same is available in other service providers nowadays)
Hence, I went to nearest branch located at my office in Udhna where first of all no one is ready to entertain the query of mine and told me to call customer care, even they do not know the correct customer care number and asked me to dial on 1860 500 5555 which was old customer care number.
When I asked to meet Branch Manager then one of guy introduce me to another person as Branch Manager when I cross verified him from his name then found that He was not actually BM but In charge of branch in the absence of BM but again he informed me to call on customer care number 1800 210 0808 or visit to Main Branch at Ram chock, Ghod Dod Road.
Hence, I went to the main branch where again they informed me that in PAN India their system is slow down and give me the contact number of their back end IT team and asked me to take follow up with IT team for my issue. When I denied that its not my responsibility and asked to meet their Branch Manager.
When I meet the BM named Mr. Maulik Doshi, first of all he behaved so rudely and not in a state of mind to listen carefully about the actual problem of the customer. Instead of that he answered me that its your fault that you have applied twice for same IPO but when I informed him this is due to the technical bug in bank's net banking system, both the applications are accepted without displaying confirmation message. On this he informed me that I am Operation Manager not technical person so you call on customer care number. Again I informed that I have already tried said option but it not resolved my problem as on your IVR option such selection is not available and even not able to directly talk to your customer care executive so that In order to not to reject my application for IPO subscription, I have to visit your branch.
By hearing this, he shouted on me that then what should I do? send your query on customer support email. When I asked him that whatever you are saying provide me in written form then he denied to do the same and say' written main kuch nahi milega'. As a representative of bank he even does not show the concern for that customer is really in trouble due to the technical bug in bank's net banking system. Instead of that he literally run away from his duty and responsibility and shouted on a customer.
Really, such a pathetic service is received from Axis bank staff. Even they do not care for the customer. and on the other hand they have a slogan' Badhti ka naam Zindagi'
