I was introduced to Audiogalaxy by a friend after I had unsuccesfully tried my hands at other file sharing programs like Napster ( then free ), Bearshare ( based on GNUtella network) and any others. what I missed I them, I found nearly all of them in audiogalaxy. Its a really great program to download all the music u want, be it pop, rock, rap, hindi filmi stuff or anything u want. just download the small satellite ( its really small !! ), register with the audiogalaxy site, and start downloading music. I have downloaded neary 1 gb of music in around a year, I dont buy Cds now, just wait for a day or two after they r released and u can find the music on audiogalaxy. ( in case of english stuff, u dont have to wait that long even ) The most important thing abt audiogalaxy is that it supports auto resume, that is u just add the song in the list, the song will keep downloading in the background, once u disconnect it will stop downloading and after u reconnect, it will again start frm where it was stopped. So u dont have to do anything like maintaining the connection till the song downloads fully or resume it manually like u have to do in Morpheus ( another file sharing program ) Whats even better is that u can even listen to the partially donwloaded songs!!! so if ur song has downloaded till 50% listen to half the song till the other half gets downloaded!
Looking at the cons, the only one coming to my mind is that sometimes it just wouldnt connect and u have to wait for a day or two for it to connect.
All in all it is really a must have for all the music lovers out there willing to share music.
