If you are a fan of James Bond movies than this must be a treat for you as Director David Leitch tried to make a Lady James Bond film with this.
Charlize Theron is a very versatile actor and it is amazing to see that she can still kick and punch but let me directly take you to the main theme, the movie is an action spy thriller based on the Novel "The coldest city" by Antony Johnston. So Lorraine Broughton(Charlize Theron) is a top level spy in M16 and she is sent to Berlin as one of the M16 agent has been murdered by the Russian KGB, the agent was carrying some top secret list of all operational cold war spies.
Lorraine only contact is the irritating chief of M16 played by James McAvoy who doesn't have much to offer, the entire plot is zero emotional and very difficult at the same time pointless to follow, the only moment in the movie when Lorraine come closer to revealing that she is a human like us is when she meets up with a french spy Delphine played by gorgeous Sofia who quickly becomes her lover.
You will find fundamental emptiness behind all the flashbacks and changing of colour every now and than, like the screen will turn blue when she is shown nude taking ice cold bath and red when in action.
Cinematographer Jonathan Sela did a really good work and the stunts are good as we all know that director David was a former action director. There is a lot of energy in the entire movie but it lacks moral, you will find emptiness even after watching the whole of it.
You can wait and watch it in laptop but if you are a fan of Charlize action than you should go and watch as this movie offer nothing more than that.
