My god.. is all I can say. One would think you can expect better from a brand like nilkamal. I placed an order for a comforter on their site at-home.co.in . The comforter was on sale even till few days after I placed order. Here I was patiently waiting to get my comforter, after few days of showing "processed" someone randomly calls me from Mumbai number (even though I ordered from Gurgaon) that the product I ordered is out of stock and I should take a refund?!
When I asked how come an out of stock product was listed for sale for so many days, they said we had a technical issue. THAT'S ALL! What's more, they refused to give me refund by any other method except cheque even though I had made payment by credit card. They said they don't have any other refund facility. REALLY? From a mega store like @home? Is this their way of taking advance payment from customers and earning interest on it while they run around for refunds getting cheques cleared and whatnot?
So I am left fuming, without the product I was so looking forward to and the tension of trip to a bank which by the way is quite far away from my house, FOR BIG FAT NOTHING. On top of all this, it seemed to me from the whole conversation like's it's everyday routine for them to turn angry consumers away. Absolutely 0 out of 100 marks in customer retention and services.
This whole experience ruined my whole day, I wouldn't suggest @home online store to anyone. Order no: 727353407388084 (even now their site says my order fulfillment is under processing, what a lie)!
EDIT: As of today, 10 days later since I got the call for refund and 15 days since I placed order, the site STILL says "Fulfillment In Progress" as order status, and I've not heard anything about the refund nor received the cheque or any email communication whether it's processed or not.
