The best competitor is arrived in market. The legacy of mi note series diminished. True Worth smartphone against Xiaomi mi note pro 6GB. first time a good budget phone from Asus ( my opinion) because Asus never impressed me with a flagship or a buget phone , becuse asus's design asthetics and ugly looking Operating system both outdated.
But they made some good phones like Asus Zenfone AR , first Daydream and tango phone .but Google itself killed it. tango phone is. a failure too. Now best time for resurrection, xiaomi lives as a king in midrange and performance level , one of the best Desktop motherboard builder now beats race of mi note 5 series.
The best im seen in Asus Zenfone max pro.
1.The best battery and backup at a decent price range.
2: outstanding Daylight camera. performance.
3: good pricing , affrodable.
4: stock android feel with oreo and lightning fast fluid performance, better than MIUI by Xiaomi( pixel like performance in real life) .
5 : Excellent Display , better colour gamut and brighter display.
6: Good hardware and dual sim support.
BUILD QUALITY.
This is a solid built phone by plastic , not metal , Taller design , 2.5 D curved glass gives a premium feel. This time no corning or dragontail saves phone from scratches.

DISPLAY.
5.99 inch 18.9 ratio taller IPS Display is the best part of the scheme. Decent colour representation, good brightness level, wide viewing angle all praisable. This particular one is the best ips display im seen in the same segment , -Saturated colours more catchy for our eyes , perform well when media usage. HARDWARE. _ QUALCOMM snapdragon 636 with eight kyro cores with adreno 509 GPU works fine. Blight stock Android oreo is more handy for this mid-range Soc._ Gaming performance is good , no heating issues, no lag when playing graphics intensive games, . 13+ 5 camera setup good to snap photos at daylight , lowlight performance is sub par, HDR Image processing is laggy._
Background blur algorithm works normal , but not outstanding, Nsome times camera Freeze's when shoot 4K videos.4k videos not looks good , best to shoot videos at 1080p. _ Audio processing is now better than before , FLAC titles process fantastic_ Single bottom firing spraker is not enough for music listening .Earpiece is giving good clear voice._ . Call reception and wifi reception both good , Bluetooth module SOME times stopped working , you need to reeboot to make it run , so its a software bug .future updates will solve it. Batterymance is outstanding and one step above than mi note 5 .With heavy media consumption and 4G recieving - easily lasts a full day . , One of the best performance battery in this segment. 5000 mah battery with 10 w charging , Don't support fast charging , but at this price range it is not a problem. cons im seen in max pro. 1 : No usb C , its faster and smartest.

3: App support for 18.9 ratio displays relatively low .

5: no corning gorilla glass protection. ANYWAY ASUS THIS TIME A WINNER, with a plastic body and taller bright display and decent budget SOC gives a good performance phone at reasonable price range. With proper software updatesand patches, they can reach a further step ahead .
