Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 is one amazing device, which is going to bring Asus bring back into the business. Since the price of Redmi Note 5 pro got hiked and also it's very difficult to purchase Redmi Note 5 pro because of its flash sale. I think this is the best phone available in Indian market under 15000 budget. This phone is going to be the king of this segment.
The display is the first thing that you notice in a device and so the 18: 9 FHD+ display is just mind blowing ( atleast I have not used any 18: 9 phones yet) and the colors looks really vivid. Viewing angles are great and due to high contrast ratio, the color reproduction is very great. The only downside with the screen is that it doesn't come with a corining gorilla glass protection, but does have an olephobic coating.
The Zenfone Max Pro has one of the loudest speaker for a budget smartphone. Pair it with the bundled Maxbot ( a free passive amplifier) and you can expect to get around 7-8 hours on screen time.
Stock Android is one of the major reason why I chose Zenphone Max Pro over Redmi Note 5 Pro it comes with Android 8.1 out of the box and hence it supports Prohect Treble. Which is an intiative form Google that will help manufacturer to push quick OS updates till Android Q ( Thanks to Treble) . Asus also included some handy features like Zenmotion with which you can quickly launch Apps.
The snapdragon 636 can easily get you through your daily productive and gaming needs. One great thing about this phone is processer in general is the power efficiency. I have played PUBG Mobile for about 45 min which the phone handled perfectly and I never felt that the phone was over heating.
Camera is not the strongest point of this phone and anyone is waiting to get better camera should probably go for Redmi Mi A1 device. The front camera is an average and the back camera is good. Colour are on the warmer side. Edge detection on the portrait mode is kind of miss and it doesn't work well inanimate objects. I hope Asus Keeps improving the camera with OTA updates.
Face unlock feature was enabled with OTA update and works pretty well in good lighting conditions. The fingerprint scanner is on the slower side. But that can be fixed with updates.
If you are looking for performance and class for a budget price. Definitely go with the zenfone max pro. Kudos to asus on this amazing phone.
