I had the worst experience with this "hospital" and especially doctor Ms. Geetha Philips and the nursing. long story, in short, I brought my father to OP to see her on the 29th of OCT with vomiting and thus he was weak, they took him to ICU and gave him liquids and after 2 days he was brought to the room, but I could feel that he was becoming weaker each day passes. On the 4th day, they confirmed that he is Dengue positive and his platelets are going down drastically. Took him to ICU again and the next day Ms. Geetha Philips told me that my father will be very hard to recover from this illness and if he does he will be bedridden because of his age and he got infected with both Dengue and Critical Illness Myopathy (CIM).
For a week he was in ICU and brought to the room but I was not at all happy with his condition and I did question them why he was brought to the room without showing any sign of betterment and their reply was there is nothing more they can do. The same night he started to cough very badly and he was struggling to breathe so requested the doctor to take him to ICU and even the duty doctor asked me why was he even shifter to the room as he has not passed the critical state. Took him back to ICU again and had to put him on a ventilator as he was in very bad condition and later after 3 days on the ventilator he started to improve and brought back to the room but still, the doctor said he would never be like how he was before bringing to hospital. I was told that he cannot eat through his mouth for a long time as he would aspirate. He wasn't able to talk as his mouth was very dry and was in real bad condition.
I took my father to Lissie hospital Kaloor and saw neurosurgeon Doctor Krishana Das and you won't believe in 4 days he started to eat from his mouth and started to walk. I was there in aster for about a month and while discharging Ms. Geetha Philips told me he will be under palliative care life long. She was never positive.
They did not even clean my father well. The first day in Lissie by just cleaning my father's mouth well his speech became clear. I was wondering they could at least keep the patient clean for the money they charge.
Please never opt for this institution. They are here just for your MONEY. They charged me more than 7 lakh without doing any procedure. The only thing I can say is that aster is a 5-star hotel rather than a hospital for the community.
I had to pay only 10, 000 for 5 days in Lissie and they gave me back my father healthy and how he was. All thanks to God almighty.
