This is applicable 4 every Ashika Group companies.U will never grow up in d co, if u can not butter d Management all d time; or u hv some prior relationship with some1from d top management. U might be a scholar, having good product knowledge & experience, but nobody will care for your career growth unless & until u have any relationship with top Management. Every good designation is occupied by d relatives or family friends of d top Management only... irrespective of der capability.


I myself was offered d position of a "Tellecaller", & at dat point of time I already completed my MCA n’ was just before 1 step through my 1st class regular MBA degree frm a premier institution. If u r a Bengali by cast, den u will never ever grow up in d org as a professional; u might be an excellent performer; but d wheel of ur career or position will never ever move on. But if u r a Marwari or Jain, den d position will be little better; (as Management always judge a person by his/ her cast; not as a human being or by d professional expertise) but in order to achieve a respectable position in d org, u has to hv some prior good relationship with top Mngment !


At every Ashika Group company, 1 n’ ONLY 1 thing matters in order to grow ... How Well U Know d Mngment Stuffs. So, naturally d career growth & job satisfaction is almost nil for a general but good performer. D CMD is very nice & well educated as a person... but I wonder, why He never tries to make dis muddy situation better. May be He never bother about so silly things (!!)... as His only concern is His org’s profit... (?) He knew well dat I was 1 among his top performers n’ everybody was aware abt d hard fact dat I was working wid much lower position in respect of my performance, educational qualification n’ experience... but no 1 has utter a single word abt dis ! Though d updated educational qualification, n’ professional experience has been taken by d HR team for 2/3 times. So, what was d use of dat at all ?Or it was just 4 d eye wash of d general employees? Some people wid much lesser experience n’ qualification hv been holding some very good positions only for d sake of der close prior relationship with d top Management . I hv spent almost 3 years in 1 of d Ashika Group companies as an employee ; n’ every time I was ragged mentally by some of so called "Bosses". i.e, I was censured roughly by IT Head Mr. Rawat (frequently), 4 reaching d off. bfore time (!) n’ requesting him to on d server.


It is nt possible 2 discuss each & every moment out der 4 almost 3 years as a general employee. But let me try to draw a small picture abt how d Mngement always differenciate between der employees -


1: The employees, basically from der own family/ some relatives of d top mangement/ from d family of some good & rich friends of top Mangement/ from some neighbors of d Mangement’s family... and,


2: D general employees - coming through some consultancy/ some referal of other general employee. Now, des 2 classes r treated by absolute different ways. Employees frm d 1st class r treated as d "GOOD BOYS/ GIRLS" in every circumstances, irrespective of der performance or professional capability. Similarly, Employees belonging d 2nd class, has always been focused as d "VILLAINS" in front of top executives ! Well, as per d normal n’ expected outcome, people frm d specified 1st class, r over confident about their job security & dus completely less bothered about there professional responsibilities, except PNPC & gossips. But can u imagine d situation of an excellent performer belonging d 2nd type of employees? D poor boy/ girl know well dat he/ she will never achieve any respectable position may be what he/ she deserve strongly.Der is no job security 4 him/ her; as he/ she is not any family member of d Management or some of there friends. Neither dey knew dem before joining d org. So, they will always stand up 4 hanging; never mind, whether dey hv done anything wrong or committed any official offense! Nobody will care abt how serious & nice dey are wid der responsibilities.


Let me place a small exmple of d same here : My immediate boss was d daughter of d close friend of 1 of d founders. She got her position due to dat relationship only; but she had neither d required educational qualification nor professional experience required 4 dat designation. Still she was holding dat position due to d relationship between her father & 1 of d founders :) Well, being d daughter of d rich friend of 1 of d founders, she always took several advantages like, she was used to went out from d office frequently any time without even informing any senior, she was professionally a big zero; always used to spent time in d office by discussing abt new trend of dresses & cosmetics or d latest G.Frinds of 1 of d member of d Board of Directors ! But nt for a single time she was asked 4 nt performing her job properly being so called "Head of d department" !  (Actually at ASHIKA, no 1 is der to NUTRALLY eveluate employee’s performance at all).On d other hand, performing worst also, at every meeting she was called up as d "Head" of our dept.! ;always she was d face to attend every seminar ! Allow me 2 specify a small example: A seminar was organized by d co & I got d responsibility to prepare d invitation letters along with d format & everything allias d overall internal affairs.I contact almost 300+ top executives frm different orgs, spoken to dem on behalf of my org, & invited dem 4 d seminar. But can u imagine, wat happened on d final day? Well, she told me dat I don’t require to b present on d venue & she went out 4 d venue by car instead of me as usual :)


... No 1 even asked 4 a single time dat why I was absent on d venue, wen I was handling d entire inner matter frm d very 1st day n’ was present in d office throuout d final day also as usual.


When I joined, I did nt hv any experience abt Stock Broking industry at all.I was frm a very good position of a leading multinational bank & I left my real good banking job; as I simply wanted 2 pursue wid a regular MBA frm some premier institution...n’ dat was entirely nt possible frm my position.So, I hv decided 2 join a comparatively small but growing concern.I thought I am an excellent performer (Am nt claiming dis; hving written certificates frm my every past employer ! ); & was sure abt, I will get some fair scope 2 learn something as well as I cud grow well within d org if I perform well, but I was a big fool. I hv realized d story almost after 3 years ... dat ur capability & hard work just does nt matter 4 d organization. No matter how excellent u r wid ur so called "Performance". D formula is - U can nt achieve any good position if u r nt any relative or some family member of some friend of top Mngement ! 2ndly if u r a Bengali, u will never ever grow up in d org... N’ dat is final.


Unfortunately I still can’t think bad abt ASHIKA group & I still respect 2 persons out der frm d bottom of my heart due to der professional excellence & capability ... trust me World, dis two guys r almost dragging d entire brand on der own soldiers .D 1st 1 of dem is honorable CMD Sir; n’ 2nd 1 is honorable Director - Marketing. But d funniest thing is, des 2 persons has hurt me bitterly at d same time :) I trust dem blindly, always kept on thinking, at least des 2 people will evaluate my performance & capability properly; but I was a damn big fool.


I resigned frm my ASHIKA group, as I was nothing but an educated & sophisticated servant for dem, who was nt authorized to grow up.
