This movie is about three people having very different and sometimes weird personalities. How their lives cross each other. One character is an obsessive writer played by Jack Nicholson, one painter and another a single mom played by Helen Hunt. Of course excellent performances by Helen Hunt and Jack Nicholson. The script is great and so is the direction. Some of the dialogues are very powerful with a lot of meaning attached to it. The story is pretty serious but quite a few comedy scenes. The movie gets a bit emotional in the later part but it is so beautifully directed and executed by the actors, its unbelieveable. Even after days you keep thinking of the movie. I liked it so much I bought a personal video copy. Nice movie to watch with your date, friends or family.
