Worst Packers and Movers (Don't trust them). Review on Arya Packers and Movers

Guys, I booked Arya Packers and Movers in the month of Jan this year for shifting my household stuff and 2 wheeler from Gurgaon to Bangalore and I really regret my decision. I checked out for reviews and quotes from 3-4 packers and movers and was really confused on which when to go with. Then certainly one of my colleague's friend who works in Urban Ladder suggested 3 packers and movers providing good service. I took a quotation from all the 3 and then checked their review on the internet and found that Arya Packers and Movers have good reviews especially by people moving from Gurgaon to Bangalore. Basis of those reviews I thought this seems like a good company and I can go with them but I didn't know this is going to be frustrating and torture for me. Don't know how people have given positive reviews for them, seems like a fake on the basis of my experience with them.

Let me tell you these people are not having their own godown in any of the places and neither they have their own vehicles. They just deal on the front end on the name of Arya Packers and Movers and later give the order to local packers and movers or transporters. The one who came to pick my stuff in Gurgaon was from some other company and the one who delivered was from some other company. Moreover, once you have done the payment and given them your stuff they don't even bother attending calls. All you have to do is call them multiple times and in case they pick up will give you multiple excuses like, was out of the city, was not well blah blah. And then they will give you no of other people who are not even from Arya and are local packers movers who actually are working on the backend. I can't tell you the frustration, calling multiple people and no proper response.

Let me list down my experience from starting :

There team came for packing and take over the household stuff and 2 wheeler in January with a truck of 9 feet in length. However, my stuff needed at least 15 feet truck, due to this they hanged some of the items at the back with rope and somehow adjusted other stuff. This was totally not expected but I still thought maybe some miscommunication so chalo leave it, but that was not it.

They didn't give me bill reason being they were not having office stamp which I asked them to get initially while booking as a company which I joined asked for stamped bills to get reimbursement. The driver and helper who came for packing and loading told they will send someone with bill tomorrow and I just trusted them and gave 28k (80%)of the amount, but that tomorrow never came and never got the bills.

As they brought small truck so they were not having space to load my 2 wheeler, so they didn't pack it and told me will have to drive it to godown where we will pack it properly and then load, again I trusted them but guess what? When I received my 2 wheeler in Bangalore, it was never packed and had scratches on the body.

While I booked with Arya packers, they gave me 20 days time extra in Bangalore to keep my stuff in godown so I can find an apartment, I told them that I will need my 2 wheeler as soon as my stuff reach Bangalore and other stuff will take later. However, they didn't give me my 2 wheeler and keep on giving one or other number (local packer and mover/ transporter)to contact with but at end denied and told will get all stuff together.

Then the time came to get my stiff, I found an apartment and asked them to send my stuff and also send bills along.

First, they denied taking stuff upstairs if it's more than 3 floors without lift which they initially promised till 6-7 floors. Luckily, there was a lift in the apartment with good space so had not faced that problem. Second, when I saw my stuff, I was shocked, it was literally thrown in the truck with some of the boxes torn off, bedsides scratched, my inverter battery nozzles were broken, one of the side table broken, almera dented, bed broken.

Third, I never got bills and at last, had to request some other packers and mover for the bill to get it reimbursed.

Conclusion: Don't trust the positive reviews and promises done by these people. Mr. Parbhat is very soft spoken and will be very convincing in nature on the phone but the service they give is pathetic. Better go with Agarwal or someone else paying extra 5-10k at least you will not be pissed off and will safely move your stuff.
