Before I say anything - I have a confession to make. Arthur's theme is owned and managed by a very dear friend, so my opinion is bound to be good!! But saying that it is genuinely a cracking place. No visit to India, Pune in particular, is complete without a visit to this fab place. The last time I visited it was in September 2001, so my comments might be a bit dated.
The food was superb, service fantastic and I got the best table in the house!! The booze selection isn't bad either!! Only downside is that you can't really sit outside and get that French Cafe feeling without being bitten to death by mosquitos!!
All in all for a non-resident Indian who has lost the taste for hot and spicy Indian food, Arthur's Theme is perfect. Tasty pasta - nearly as good as the pasta I had in Italy, right at my doorstep is more than what I could ask for.
And the next time I visit India, I'm sure to pop back into Arthur's Theme for a great evening with family and friends.
