If you are one of those who have a love affair with Biryani, inarguably the most famous food item brought in by the Mughals, then "Arsalan" should be a place which you should not missed. The aroma and taste, preparation of Biryani here is simply mouthwatering and leaves its presence felt in the mouth long after you have finished eating.
I have been eating here with my family, my parents for the last 6-7 years and it is our favourite restaurant. The pricing here is also quite affordable for the middle class family and they maintain their high quality standard of food.
Even the other food items, their chicken dishes and other mughlai foods have a rich taste.
Total value for money in terms of spicy tasty food and it deserves a 5 star rating.
Arsalan stands out among all the places that I have had Biryani, even in comparison with Hyderabadi and Lucknow biryani, the Arsalan Biryani taste and flavour stands tall and is a master at the art of making Biryani which many Indians will agree to be their favourite luxury food dish. One thing which I like about Kolkata Biryani in general is that they serve Aloo or potato in Biryani which I guess adds to the flavour and appeal of the biryani like at Arsalan, they serve a very tasty Aloo along with the Biryani and meat( chicken or mutton).
The food here just melts in the mouth and allows you to relish the pleasurable taste of Mughlai foods. Please visit it if you still are in search for the best Mughlai and Biryani experience.
