I was a student here for nearly four months.
Every member of the management lack common sense, when it comes to operations.
They have faculty shortage. But, they won't admit that to the student. After joining, one realizes this. With time, one understands why they have faculty shortage. It is because the management doesn't honor their professional commitments (to either faculty or students) after collecting fees from students.
Every single day, faculty has to beg for the classroom. Sometimes, multiple batches of students are crowded in a classroom. Regardless of how good their faculty are (and yes, all faculty here are sincere and dedicated), they can't handle simultaneous classes for two or more batches.
The management wants to be "flexible" with timings, but, they have absolutely no idea where to draw the line. Faculty and students pay the price.
The management claims that they maintain small batch size so that each student gets individual attention, but, they don't honor that.
Management will nag you to pay fees but they won't have the same promptness in addressing issues that you face.
Upon fee payment, Aptech is supposed to make available e-learning materials through OnlineVarsity. They took their own sweet time for this. More than three weeks. Each time I raised the issue, their receptionist told me to get back after two days. They simply don't acknowledge a problem in time. And now, from what I understand from Mouthshut reviews of other Aptech centers, this is prevalent across cities.
It is not naive to expect professional behavior from Aptech and from the senior members of the management of this particular learning center, given that they boast of 13-16 years experience, and specialized MBAs (Here's the link to their site where they make these claims https://aptechbangalore.in/about-us/). Their performance at the training center makes me wonder if these claims are true, or just a marketing gimmick.
Be warned, if you are humble and polite, regardless of whether you're a student or faculty, this management, especially their pathetically insincere receptionist, will treat you like crap. They do not respect the time of student or faculty.
Do not join here as student or as faculty.
They are thoroughly unprofessional, even though they come across as refined and decent folks.
