Hi Friends,
I have been using this 5th Gen I Pod from Apple since 2014 November. I bought it online on a good deal, the product I received was genuine as I got the serial number verified by the company itself. There are both pros and cons with this device, let me share my experience with you.
1) The device UI is user friendly, contains essential apps for fun and entertainment, but you gotta have an apple id or you must create it to have full use of those. Its touch is highly responsive, no problem in that but the quality seems a bit down as it seems very fragile. The apps work fine if downloaded from Apple Store and most importantly its very similar in design to a iphone, something you can flaunt in public as well.
2) The features are pretty basic when you compare it with any phone but being a mp3 and mp4 player it gives you decent features. It has inbuilt apple store, WiFi, retina display, nice amount of space 64Gb, the camera is fine not very good, the best part is the ear pods and the noise cancellation. The ear pod just fits perfectly and the whatever place you are standing is just gone by the music in your ears. Playing the music very loud also does not feel harsh on the ears but the volume increases with continuing the soothing feel of music. In short, music remains music at high volume too, it does not becomes noise.
3) The product is reliable, since it gives you a decent power back up for songs, but for videos and games and WhatsApp, all at the same time can consume the power faster. For long journeys by bus or something you can plug it in and relax and the music will hold for long definitely.
4) The price is off-course higher but its seriously can come down a little, reason is, the product feels fragile, you don't want to drop it, with the given features the battery is weak, apart from sound, the camera is pretty basic, there are some features which our phone already has like maps and so it can be removed because we always carry phone with ipod and the prices can be cut.
So, in short I can say that the product is good but expensive which can be made a bit cheaper in terms of price by focusing on what the product actually is.
