Consistant quality. Review on Apple iPhone 4s

I purchased this phone around march 2012. Why did I land up buying this phone.

I wa using a Basic Mocromax Phone after I lost my samsung corby. The Micromax went for sometime and finally gave up. Now there was a need to buy a digi cam and a phone. I didn't target any smart phone as I was not using Interned or different application, My requirement was restricted to making calls, messages( yes messages were still in fashion), space for music, good battery backup, trouble free usage, and a decent camera to save the day.

I did extensive research over the internet for my handy cam, tried to gauge its features in real life scenario whenever I had the oppurtuinity, at last I was figured that the one I liked was way out of range.

This was the time when I came accross I phone which my friend had. It was a iphone 4, I quite liked the camera and video camera. I spent thinking about the idea of buying an iphone which meets all my criteria within budget of buying a phone   handycam. I didn't have much knowlwdge on smart phones especially the iphones, the operations didnt seem to be a friendly one, also this was the most expensive phone in the market for a whooping cost of Rs.53000.

I didnt get a positive feedbach on Samsung models which were available then, I aslo seen my close friends struggling with its quality, I didnt want to spend 30k on a crap product.

Though the cash to buy the iphone didnt come in handy I finally purchased the iphone 4s 32GB for approx$% 53000 from reliance digital.

I felt that all my requirements for the next few years have been completed. The camera and video quality was awesome. though it is 8mp front and 5 mp rear camera, the quality was superb and better than many Nokia phones offering 42mp camera. I use a DSLR Nikon and let me tell you friends that resolutoion is notthe only thing to look for in a camera.

The mobile is on the heavier side with rear made of glass which is very prone to crack, so a mobile cover is a life saver.

The touch screen is spot on, those who are looking for a small smartphone instead of the bigger ones which are difficielu to use and carry in many oaacsions can have a look at this 4s model, however the net surfing and book reading for longer suration is not a comfortable job.

The bluetooth is only meant for making calls and listening to music and any data trasnfer has to be done through itunes using a desktop/laptop. This is where the trasnfer to data becomes very slow and irritating. There are certain applicatio like the share it where data can be shared alternatively.

Downside also include reading a pdf file in many cases, and viewing a excel sheet or a word file is not possible, so if you want to see a report or edit a word file for say, uploading a resume, this is not the right device for you.

The standard earpiece comes with a integrated mouth piece which is ver decent. The front camera is of very good quality and if the lighting are good one can take a very clear snap.

Again on the downside the battery last only for 12-13 hours and if we use Wifi and 3G this eats up the battery even faster. I I feel that is the case with all the smart phones available in the market.

Verdict. Overall this is a solid product and it has delivered whatever it promised, it has hanged very rarely, say once in 2 months, which is acceptable, music, camera, the touch screen are awesome. this is against high price, size, and ease of data sharing.
