Ipad..big on pocket and less of utility. Review on Apple iPad

I does not owe an iPad personally but I had it for few days. it was my cousins which she got as a gift from her company. iPad is not officially launched in India but is expected to be around for 25000 rs for 16GB.

Before stating few merits and demerits let me tell you what iPad is ipad is a netbook which has inbuilt wifi and 3g. basic use is to surf the net.

merits:

Very responsive touch screen and great graphics. processor is fast and apps work like charm. Battery life is good as well and very easy to use. Good built quality.

Demerits:

1) Has too many restriction like any other apple product. you cannot install any app form other site but from the apple app store itself, for which you have to pay, not much free apps are available on the store.

2) No camera, I mean front facing camera. in spite of 3G capabilities you cannot make video call.

3) Files from bluetooth can only be transferred to apple product.

4) No flash support, means website which uses flash to display content or graphics cannot be rendered properly, sites like YouTube. So its not the best web experience.

5) You cannot download file from website and save it on iPad really, you can't. There is no file manager as well.

Conclusion:

Like other apple product this is also overpriced in the same price you can get a dell laptop with good configuration.

It is seriously not of much use as I have seen, good for showoff but not practical. You cannot use it to its full extent. in short its just a big 9 inch iPod.
