Drummer - Steven Adler
I seem to recall first hearing this album in around 1992. One of my friends had bought it and although I didn't really like the type of music this band produced, there were a few songs which stood out.
After this I started to take a bit more of an interest in the band. I started to watch the videos on MTV, bought `Use Your Illusion' 1 and 2 on CD and the live videos of the same name.
In those days, if anybody asked me if I liked `GNR' I always used to say no. For some reason I was ashamed to say that I enjoyed listening to them. Maybe it was because the lead singer Axl Rose (Oral Sex) couldn't really sing, or maybe the heavy rock music wasn't what a 12 year old would normally listen to.
When you compare this album to the competition it faced, bands like Bon Jovi, it didn't fare very well. I always remember Bon Jovi doing considerably better in the charts. I must admit, I think I enjoyed listening to Bon Jovi a bit more.

As you can see from my ratings I have given three songs 5 out of 5. Obviously the main reason for this is that they are my favourite songs on the album. Maybe it is also because these songs are among the most well known tracks released by the band.
