I was browsing for different LCD/LED displays to replace my old CRT monitor. Both LG and Samsung had hefty price tags, so I was looking for cheaper alternatives that would not compromise on quality. After doing some diligent research on the internet, I zeroed in on two brands: AOC and Dell.
I bought the AOC just because of slightly lower price. It turns out to be a good display. The LG 19-inch display at my workplace does not seem to have the same color range which particularly shows up when using graphic design software like Adobe CS6 suite.
However, there is one flaw I should point out. Dell LCD monitor has a wider viewing angle. This means if someone is watching a movie or streaming video he cannot watch it from the corner of the room, or else the display will get faded. All in all, a decent product for its price(bought from an online store at RS.5600) and doing quite well.
