There are actors who can bring life to any character. They can bring originality to their work in such a way that it doesn't seem that they are acting at all.
Anupam Kher is one such artist.
I have grown up watching movies in the 1990s, 2000s and now 2010s and I have seen the career span of Anupam Kher, whether its the comedies, the villainies, or the serious drama roles that he has played, there are very few people in the industry that can match the originality of his work. In fact, just a look at him and the way he talks, has all the charms of an artistic actor.His work in Saaransh is almost unmatchable in the industry.His villainous role in Karma made him a legend and the most versatile actor Bollywood has ever seen.I have seen almost all his movies throughout my childhood and can't even remember them.
Besides, you will have difficulty finding another actor who has won more than 8-9 filmfare awards.It is only original-artists like Anupam, Irfan khan, Naseeruddin shah who are able to break into Hollywood. That's why Anupam has found place in more than half a dozen Hollywood movies. In fact, he has also worked in Malayalam, Tamil, and even Chinese movies.
Anupam is the epitome of greatness in the world of acting and his recent padma bhushan award is well deserved. In fact, he should have won it a long time ago. I am thinking of creating a collection of all his movies and watch them again to cherish the time I grew up.
