With scotching heat all over India, everyone wants to get cool?some preferred option that aam admi resort to are fan ,air cool, pool, juices, chilled icy water , thundering beverages? lip smacking ice-creams?lassi..dahi?. whatever comes their affording ways?but all are not good in sense of health?..sometimes you end up having just opposite of desired results.
According to my health conscious mind?having plenty amount of water?pure hygienic water?.getting inside cool is long lasting effective remedy. And best to my knowledge is having buttermilk...dahi?whether homemade or readymade. But with setting curd one has to be very careful and if buying outside have to be very vigilant as you may come home with curd with bacteria.
So I wanna talk about this MASTI DAHI and ready made ?.available dahi?where in I don?t have to bother with setting perfect dahi nor do I have to worry of getting bacteria lumps?in name of curd. I don?t know about other parts of India but here in Gujarat since few months they have propped up Amul outlets where in you get all dairy products and yet at reasonable price.
This AMUL MASTI DAHI is made from pasteurized toned milk. Soulfully come in plastic bowl covered air tight with aluminum foil having tab with little protrusion outside enough to pull up with thumb and finger (to open the covering).
I feel they rightly named it MASTI DAHI ?as it really puts you to mastic\majestic mind especially in this ablazing sun where it emits out burning to say scorching heat?..hard to become mastiful?
Well set dahi of this amul mastic dahi having real pale milky color is so tempting you start having feeling of relief on the sight it self. Its well set and one spoonful in your mouth... hmm its so sumptuous...desirable?.melts in your mouth leading you to the state of bliss ? its like the hell in your mouth?one spoon is not enough opening it ?the full vision of it disappears within seconds and two min are more to finish it up alone?.
My experience I will describe?.I drive specially to amul outlet hardly 15 min way to my house?coming back ...entering kitchen all perspiring?put down all my shopped ?cartoons...yes first let me put curd in freeze before I resume to my routine work or else heat will spoil it?by making it sour? this is my practical mind says .As I pick up the delicious masti dahi deciding to put back?
I irresistibly open it up just to taste it and within one min its all melted in my mouth?pushed back to esophagus pipe?all at one stroke?so tempting ?now nothing to be kept back in freeze just my hands reach to dispose it in wastebasket. This is the moment where I find myself fitted to the character of tom mouse walloping cheese at electrifying speed of Walt Disney?s movies.
I REALLY RELISH its SOULFUL TASTE chunk by chunk. Anything else can?t be better than this. Its regalia taste makes their punch line very meaningful: ?the last word for curd?.
It?s the product from AMUL INDIA?..BY GUJARAT CO-OPERATIVE MILK MARKETING FEDERATION LTD.
Its net weight is 200 g at reasonable price. Its MRP (incl. of all taxes) is Rs.8.00 (Gujarat state) and Rs.9.00 (other state).its also available in 500 g. It comes in different flavors but not yet made available at my hometown. Its approximate content of fat is 3.5%.

And this is what I have witnessed irrelevant of all changing seasons their taste and flavor are consistent.
So do enjoy its taste ?become healthy and beat the heat with this AMUL MASTIC DAHI DAHI MADE FROM PASTEURISED TONED MILK as they say.
