During Diwali festival, I bought a front loader Bosch washing machine. It has been 1.5 month since I placed my order of washing machine as a gift to my mother on Diwali but I have yet to receive that washing machine. However, height of problem is that, instead of delivering the product on promised delivery time they asked me to wait for another 5 more weeks(21st December) to get further update on product delivery status. In nutshell, as per last amazon response they can't give me specific date regarding when will I receive my product or can deliver my product as per their promise. I mean, how can it take 3 months to receive a simple washing machine which is already available on the amazon right at this moment? I have made at-least several dozens of calls to Amazon executive, and they promised me(kept lying) that they will resolve my issue and I will get my product in stipulated time(which has already changed 3 times). But, here I am, still waiting for it.But it seems, they are keep delaying my issue and wants to cancel my order to get rid of me.
In one call, when I requested an executive to connect me to their supervisor, they said, "No point in trying to reach to superior for higher escalations. You are wasting your time. These lines were said to me by Amazon Customer care. My personal suggestion is to cancel the order from us and get it from somewhere else if you want to have peace of mind."
What do I do now? I am clueless, helpless and aghast.
However,I am determined to receive my promised product at any cost, I will do and seek appropriate way to receive justice. sometimes, I feel cheated and defeated as amazon have starting to give blind eye to my grievances like I meant nothing but just a fool on the other side.
I am looking forward to hear from you and will wait for your answer.
By the way, when I am writing this complain, still there is no confirmation from Amazon that when will I receive my product? I just don’t know how to address this harassment anymore, so I am lodging this complain to find some appropriate resolution. My sincere request to you, please provide my product as it was promised even if you couldn't deliver on time.
The chronological entire event diary
I bought a Bosch washing machine - order number - #XXXX-XXX-XXX on 14th Octoberwhich was delivered to me on 16th October. Then, I received an email confirming the installation within next 72 hours(refer to image no-1) so I waited for 72 hours but nobody turn-up or contacted me from Amazon or Bosch.
Then, I made a call to amazon customer care to know the status of my installation service. They asked me to wait for another 48 hours which I did but again nobody turned up.
Then, they asked me to contact Bosch customer care which I did but didn’t get response from there as well.
I kept calling amazon and Bosch. Amazon always used delaying tactics by asking me to wait for 48 hours first then 72 hours next but installation didn’t happen. But, to my surprise after dozens of calls from myside, finally bosch responded and send their engineer.
Bosch service engineer came on 24 October but when we opened the box, the door knob was broken so he refused to repair or install it as it was ordered from Amazon. I updated this issue to amazon on the same day, they asked me to send the picture of the damaged machine and asked me to wait for another 6 hours which I obliged(refer to image-2 and 3). But, again, nobody contacted me, and nothing happened.
Again, I called them up on 25th October and they asked me to send them an email attaching picture. I told them about yesterday’s email, but they insisted to send me a new email, so I did(refer to image-4 and 5). Again, I received the automated response asking me to wait for 6 hours and they will get in touch with me. Nobody did. Since it was almost a Diwali festivity, I chose to rest the matter for few days thinking as a professional organization, they will do the needful.
But to my constant disappointment, they continued to ignore the service they falsely promised me, not once or twice but several times. Finally, I said, I don’t want this machine and asked them to return my money but they requested me for replacement of the machine and promised me on the phone that I will be able to receive a replaced product on the same day as the day they are going to collect a damaged product. However, when they came on 30th October to collect the machine, they said they will collect the machine only today and will deliver to you on the same day. It didn’t happen.
Again, I waited for few more days and then, tried to contact them on 4th November but didn’t get any assurance regarding the delivery of my replacement. Then, they updated on the web that my product is scheduled to arrive on 8th November between 8am to 5pm(refer to image 6). So, I eagerly waited till that time but to my disappointment again, I didn’t receive anything.
When I again spoke to them and asked why I didn’t receive my product on 8th November, they said, they are still not sure about the delivery date of the product and asked me to wait till 19th November for further update. On 18th November, I called them up for the status of the update they said, wait till 19th November. Then, I called them up on 19th so they gave me a new date of 21st December.
Along all this while, I expressed my experience and wrote a review to amazon, but they didn’t publish that review either(refer to image 7).
It has been 6 weeks since I placed my order for the first time and they asked me to wait for another 5 more weeks to receive an update on the status of the product. How long am I suppose to keep waiting for it? I just don’t know how to address this harassment anymore, so I am lodging this complain to find some appropriate resolution. My sincere request to all, please give my product as it was promised.
