Recently ordered a NIKON lens on COD at Rs 6355. Immediately after the order was placed saw that the item price was reduced at Rs 5700! Hence cancelled the previous order and placed a new order at lower price. Item was shipped immediately and reached AMAZON hub but then never reached me!
Obvious reason being that the seller was not interested to sell at a lower price and when I contacted AMAZON customer support they readout scripted communication - asking me to wait for a week! Why should I wait for a week when I have availed PRIME DELIVERY? Moreover I can always buy it offline immediately or on another ecommerce portal, why should I wait?
At AMAZON the representatives appeared clueless or hand in gloves with the seller and "supported/ justified " the inordinate delay! I just cancelled the order and shared my NEGATIVE feedback on AMAZON website. which to my surprise was deleted, thus validating my conclusion that both AMAZON and the seller - PRICE PERFECT were acting collectively. Both together trying to defend the pricing goof up that might have happened!
Word of advice - Refrain from using(PAID PRIME DELIVERY SERVICE) as the level of service at AMAZON.IN is certainly subprime!
Extremely disappointed with the quality of service by the seller and with AMAZON - the facilitator. PATHETIC
Hope they refund my money soon.
