Hello Friends,


This review is about a UPS purchased from Amazon on which they promised a return+refund and later denied as if all was my fault.


I ordered a "VGUARD UPS SESTO 600 - 600VA" through Amazon.in on 02-Sep-2018 via order #171-4323143-4647501 and paid Rs 2339 using my CC and it was delivered on 05-Sep-2018.


I was hospitalized while it came to me and had never had a chance to try it. On arriving home I got to know that this is not compatible with my system setup and it was last dates of return window.


I called Amazon CC on 19-Sep-2018 and they were very polite to say that we will pick up the product and refund you as an exception as this product has batteries and can't be picked up. They took a return request which was also showing in my Amazon account and it still does.


I again called on 21-Sep-2018 and some gentleman repeated the same words and ask not to call again as they will give me a call from their side.


I was quite assured at this point and left it as it is. When there was no communication till 30-Sep-2018, I called them again and was asked to send pics of the product to cs-reply@amazon.in and then they will see.


On further calls, I was told that this product can't be returned and the promises made by their staffs were MISTAKES. And the story ends.


BEWARE! Amazon.in is pathetically telling a lie to make sure your return window is over legally so that you can't do anything. BEWARE!


I have complained the same in ConsumerHelpline/INGRAM but the status since 30-Sep-2018 is still "Not Processed Yet" in last 17 days.


If you have any input to provide, do guide me. Also, I do not have call recordings and will always record Amazon calls so that they can be taken to law when they lie. I advise you to do the same.
