My review of Amar Ujala is as an employee.
I have worked from 2005 to 2010 in this newspaper in Advertising department and I would say it is one of the best companies to work for.
I joined as a trainee and left the company as an Officer, when I moved to HT.
If you have talent and are ready to perform, this is a good company. The teams are always so friendly and supportive. In fact, the environment was always like that in a family. I have worked in two branches due to transfers and both places had great environments.
In fact, some of my best times were spent in this organization.
There's little bit of politics and stuff but as long as you are focused on your own work, nothing can interfere. The management is also good. The Director used to visit once in a while and would interact with all employees and take their feedback.
The reporting manager and branch manager were always so friendly and supported with your work.
Working with your team in the ad marketing department is always fun. There's so much creativity involved. Besides there's so much new to learn everyday and you have the freedom to plan events and share with your department head and team to monetize them. In fact, I created a few innovative features and was asked to share with other branches so that they could also monetize them.
The HR department was also always so supportive.
My job helped me get a full overview of how an organization works because I interacted with all departments while providing backup to my marketing team.
It has been so many years working at AU. Don't know how the environment is there now.
