Though I have never been to AMU but I have friend (his name is Wasim, do you know him Farid?) who was there for 3 years ( or should I say here, because most of the time he used to be in Mumbai and when I used to ask him the reason for him to be in Mumbai, he used to always give one reason i.e. ''University mein STRIKE!!!hai,) so ridiculous!! I want to bring to your notice some fact about AMU.
The students are worst, instead of doing academics all they want is to became ''NETA'', so they all start it from AMU. They are least bother about the image they give to AMU.
Tell me why only AMU is always in news for bad reason, sometimes its strike other times its election and last time I read in newspaper that there was firing in AMU campus. All this thing never happens in Mumbai or any other palace like BHU or IIT's.
Poor Vice-Chancellor'swhat they can do, if students are not willing to improve. Remember one thing this VC's are not dumb, they are the the person who may have headed more bigger organisation before coming to AMU, these are people who are sucessfull in every department they headed then what the reason that they fail in Aligarh. It's student, they are the one who let this VC's down.
I know some people will not agree with my points but specially Alumini of AMU but they are the one who can improve AMU, it's upto them or if they can't I think AMU should be closed completely..
As if of today I dont recommend it to anyone, you dont want to join an Institute just because of it's past Laurels, do you??
