Akola is one of the city in Maharashtra. It is not so big city but quite active. Because of being one of the important centre in this part of Maharashtra, Akola has an airbase which is active quite frequently because of happening of some political or other events. Educational conferences and cultural fairs are the regular activities of this city almost every year due to which celebrities and other eminent personalities keep visiting here like politicians, actors, businessman etc.
But this is not a major airport where you do not expect public crowd because of no facility of air travel from this place. Hardly there are any major flights. So, the infrastructure and staff panels are not the point of consideration. Just when any eminent personality comes from air route, then this airbase is used, that's it.
