You can't trust this app for delivery timeliness. Review on Ajio

Ajio is one of the most famous and renowned e-commerce websites in India. Ajio brings you the trendiest, fresh, and unique styles from across India and all over the world. Most exclusive international brands and labels come to your wardrobe with few clicks. With such a good reputation and review rating I got really impressed and thought of buying something on it and give it a try. Eventually, I had planned to go for a marathon which was going to be held at the starting of July, and wanted sports shoes for the marathon.

So I went to their website to find different shoe brands. While I was surfing their website and noticed that the website is very user friendly to use. After scrolling down for a while I finally found the sports shoes which I thought of. The Adidas'The Energy Falcon X Lace-Up Running Shoes' with Adiwear sole and Synthetic upper material with Product Code- 460754722001. Ajio promises you the assurance of authenticity and quality with easy returns and exchange. I had got a 23% discount on the product. I ordered the product and the assumed delivery date was 28th June. So the delivery was coming on the month-end and not on the marathon time so I was satisfied with the delivery date. But as the date arrived the product wasn't even shipped but when the delivery date had come a message was sent to me that the delivery was going to be late. The message stated that"Hi! While there is, unfortunately, a delay in your AJIO order with ID, We hope to deliver it within the next 2 business days. Really sorry about this! Once our courier delivery person is out for delivery with the package, we will notify you," I was very angry when I read this ridiculous message.

I immediately called customer care to ask about my order. Where I informed them about my situation that I am going to have a marathon and needed the shoes as soon as possible. So they said we will contact the delivery team and ask them to deliver you the product as soon as possible. For arguing with the customer care for a few minutes, the support team told me that we would look into the matter as fast as possible. So the next day I received the message of Out for Delivery from Ajio. So the delivery person came in the afternoon and delivered it. I unboxed the shoes where I found the quality was great and the same as given on the website. I loved the product and gave a 5-star rating for the product.

My overall experience is that the quality of the product is great and the website. The big problem I faced with Ajio was its delivery timeliness. The most important thing while buying online is delivery timeliness which lacked in this process So I prefer not to use such a website that doesn't have any respect for their customer's time.
