People may get warned from what the two Broadband service providers Jio and Airtel are doing to befool, defraud, loot and cheat the innocent public by way of first releasing their very attractive and charming advertisements relating to their broadband and other services at prominent places to lure the innocent public and then making innocent public victims of their calculated frauds and cheating and thereby making it to repent thereafter for the same.
We after getting looted and cheated at the hands of Jio whose broadband connection and mobile connection we had taken on its claims of the best service provider in India and even paid Rs 5200 as refundable security for taking its broadband connection, tried to take the broadband connection of Airtel who has proved itself to be worst than even the dacoits after receiving the amount of Rs 2828/-on 19.6.2020 as three months advance payment from us for providing Airtel Xstreme Fiber connection vide their online transaction No.: 619522660. Earlier they vide their SMS message confirmed having received our Airtel Xstream Fiber request and gave it No: 41-3067044619731. Then they also confirmed having received our request for providing only Airtel Xstreme Fiber connection by writing in their SMS that “ your Airtel Xstream Fiber Digital Application Form No. is 0111581885”
After carrying all transactions including receiving money for providing Airtel Xstreme Fiber connection as above, their men came and installed inferior connection than fiber connection that of simple broadband not having those features which the zstreme Fiber connection has and for which we had applied and they had received Rs 2828 /- as 3 months’ advance Payment of its subscription. Then even the Broadband connection installed by them in place of Fiber connection was not provided any connectivity to our landline Phone, Smart TV, and laptop stating that another team will come to connect the connection.
When the fraud and cheating of the Airtel came to light and it was found that not only inferior connection than the fiber connection for which it Charged us has been installed but even this is not connected to our any appliance, I made a police complaint to the Commissioner of Police under intimation to the Airtel.
In spite exposure of the Airtel for its committing frauds, looting and cheating like the robberies made by dacoits in daylight even on police records the Airtel has neither refunded the money it charged by playing its fraud and cheating as above nor provided connectivity to its any connection from 19.6.2020 till the time of writing this open letter for its exposure on public media on 29.6.2020. In between, it sent one Mr. Kaushal to provide the connectivity but he failed to do so and left our place by telling us that he will come tomorrow. But instead of coming when he was telephoned from our phone number with him, he did not attend the call and thereafter when telephoned from another phone he shouted and disconnected the phone. The shameless Airtel has been sent tens of mails but it has not responded to any one of them and thereby has thrown a challenge to us to do whatsoever we can and they will neither refund the amount of Rs 2828 /-charged from us nor the connectivity to our appliances for which we paid. The TRAI is the governing authority over these broadband and DTH service providers and complaints have been made to it also but the problem is many of its concerned officers are learned to having hand in glove with these service providers and share fruits of corruption with them. At other places, bribes by these corrupt and looters service providers appear to be working. The Jio for leaving whose connection we applied for Airtel’s fiber connection did not issue sim of my wife’s mobile number under its control when she refused to buy a phone from it at many times higher rates than the market after coercing and pressuring her along with me for 3 hours and completing formalities like taking her photograph, sharing OTPs came on her another phone despite we both are in the age group of70 years. Since to me also sim was not being issued by Jio without purchasing a new phone from it, the phone of Samsung Galaxy A-10 s forcibly sold to me at Rs 2000 higher rates than the Samsung in 10, 000/0. Despite repeated demands for refunding my security amount of Rs 5200 took by Jio from me in two installments as refundable security, it is not refunding the same also to further defraud and cheat me
So the public may get alerted from these two most corrupt Broadband and DTH service providers, Jio and Airtel Prof. Kamal Jit Chhibber, Advocate
