I (vikas goyal) have owned five prepaid connections of Airtel i.e. for me and my family. We are living in Sanjay Enclave Uttam Nagar, New Delhi – 110059, area.
We were very happy with the services of Airtel, till 2016 but after that and till date, we are facing non-connectivity issues; continuously. We can’t be able to make or receive any call or sms inside our home, which were being possible/done; earlier. We have to place our phones at the outer side of our home only as a little bit connectivity is showing there but we can only be acknowledged about the call/SMS there and to receive & make any call/SMS; we have to move out from our house. Whatever is being talked; clearly been audible to anyone in the area/street/passing by the public and there is no privacy, we can’t talk about anything which is quite personal i.e. from there. Almost every user of our area/street has to come out from i.e. to call or receive any calls etc. as no-one is able to do the same, inside from their home. It is always found as, “Not Reachable”; if we forgot to place our phones at the outer side area of our home.
I had made several complaints to Airtel i.e. through e-mails, mobile calls [which is very very difficult reaching their customer care executives(CCE), their IVRs are like spider’s web and it is your destiny that you have got a CCE] and twitter but my complaints were always been treated as “not important” as nothing has been done on them, even no-one has tried to know; what actually the issue is. No-one from Airtel has visited here to know the connectivity issues of our area. No results are seen against my complaints, yet. Several other users were also made several complaints on the same subject/issue but nothing has happened, here. We have only been received airtel’s prescribed apologies replies, commitments of their customer care executives but on the ground; nothing has done. They(Airtel) always gives us a complaint number to which, we have got the messages that the same has been resolved, according to them but that was how, when and where; nobody knows.
I had written the mail to their(airtel’s) Nodal & Appellate Authority also but they didn’t even bother to reply, how can they be able to resolve the issue of inactivity. This is my personal experience that Airtel is not taking care of their customers and playing with us only. Now, the situation is becoming worst n worst, we are now facing the SMS Failed activity; we are not been able to send/receive the SMS, severally and from one month(approx.). I am working with a private co. and it is very usual that I need to reply on several topics to my bosses but it is very difficult for handling the conversations, from outside.
Airtel is claiming that they are on No. 1 and the strongest service provider of our Country, expanding their network very fast but in Delhi/New Delhi(National Capital), they are unable to provide proper connectivity and claiming their 4G services in the rural and hilly areas. Isn’t it strange, who is going to believe this?
After having such connections, we have to go for a wi-fi connection but of some other service provider as Airtel’s connectivity is not here for the same; too. Through this wi-fi connectivity, we are able to make WhatsApp, Duo, Imo calls etc., i.e. from our home but not always as sometimes there is no-light and some technical faults incurred. The question raises that after having such connections of such service provider, having their appropriate data plans; why it is required to go for that wi-fi connection?
In a situation that if something has happened in any of relations or if someone is in need of help or if our kids are outside and requiring some kind of help or guidance i.e. in the night, out of electricity mode or else; how can they be able to contact us? Do we need to settle outside of our homes, permanently as presently, your connectivity area is there only?
Some of our financially strong neighbors have installed the signal booster; by their own but what about our kind of persons as we are not so much of equipped. If anyone from your side is willing to visit here, can come to know about the sufferings i.e. from the connectivity/inactivity of Airtel services; in our area.
