I got a postpaid Airtel service so that I dont need to have the hassle to recharge the prepaid card & few guys suggested airtel is good.But it turned out to be a nightmare.
Firstly - the customer service is very bad. I filled out the new connection form & was promised the connection will be started in 24 hrs. After 24 hrs when the connection did not start I contacted the customer service only to know that they have lost my form. I couldn't belive it, that they can be so careless.
I had to fill the form again & submit a new photo.
Connection was started, but then the callerid was not working, I called up the customer serivice & was promised the callerid would start in 4 hrs. I waited all day, finally went down all the way to the airtel customer service office & submitted a request. This time the callerid started working the next day.
One fine day, within 15 days of my new connection, I received an sms saying my bill has exceeded the minimum allowed 300/ - & I need to make a payment in 2 days. This does not make sense at all.
I have a post paid card & not a prepaid, which means i'll pay the amount at the end of the months, when I recieve the bill. What difference does it make now in having a post paid.
And in 2 hrs time, I could not make any phone call nor can sms altough I had 2 days time to pay.
Am really frustrated with the Airtel service & decided to cancel my connection
