I am using Airtel Broadband service for the last 2 year. Initially they provided 8 Mbbs speed and now they are providing 24 Mbbs speed. But the issue it is not stable. Some times internet will be slow and also get disconnected.
Now a days many competitors came in my location(Act, Hathaway) and they are providing 100 to 200 Mbps spped with unlimited internet within 1000 rupees. But Airtel is offering only 24 Mbps speed with 130 GB Data with the same budget. I have called Air tel Customer Care and they are saying within one month we will provide 100 Mbps speed in your area. The same answer they are giving last couple of months but there is no action.
I told them you are in the market for the last couple of years and you could have increased the bandwidth and speed comparatively better than your competitors since they are new but came with very good technology and offering good speed and they understand the client requirement well. Also informed them if you are not going to improve all your customers will move to other service providers. But till now no action.
Many times I am not able to connect my VPN using the Airtel Broadband. I have informed the same to Airtel team they aid if the internet is working fine then it is not our issue. If I connect through other brands data card VPN is working which means there is some issue with Airtel Broadband but they don't have any action Plan. I am planning switch to other service provider since Airtel is not ready to improve and not understand the customer current requirement.
Hence I will not recommend this product to any one.
