It took me 2 months to get an airtel broadband connection(08042086107). It was working fine. I shifted to a new place and gave connection transfer request. The connection was transferred without any hassle and shifting charge of Rs 300 was charged for this. After two months of usage at my new place, suddenly one day my broadband connection got disconnected. On calling the customer care executive the response I got was "Sir your broadband disconnection process has completed, because we couldn't transfer your connection to a new place, you gave a disconnection request." Totally surprised, I asked them whether they have any call details or mail of me giving a disconnection request. Same answer repeated, I kept my cool and asked for reconnecting that, the customer care executive took a reconnection request and gave a date of 1 week before which the connection will be restored. That day passed and many such deadlines passed and finally they inform me that "because of network choking in your area we couldn't take your reconnection request." No authority in airtel is there to listen to you. So my advise better stay away from it if you want leave peacefully.
