I got Airtel broadband just a week back..opted for 128 kbps @ 600 p.m package with 100 talk time Airtel provided connection on just 3 rd day after applying. So, Installation service is ok. Phone supplied : BEETEL with caller id but a mediocre quality phone..
6 months back they used to give an excellent speaker phone (Trendy make it seems) and great offer of free calls to one registered Airtel number. But these offers are no more it seems.
I have tried for BSNL broadband and landline as we get 275 talktime for 500 /- p.m.or 700 unlimited plan if we want unlimited access. But in vain as they had given up saying no cable availability for new broadband connections. I have applied for refund of my bsnl deposit 1 month back...but still didnt get back..hats off to those Ameerpet, hyderabad BSNL employees who missed my file as I was informed when enquired abt my refund.
But I still believe BSNL packages are reasonable if u can get one as we get good enough talk time for some packages .However their customer service will not be up to the mark(I heard..i dont have personal experience).
Then checked with Reliance...same answer again
Finally got Airtel. Regarding service n support, I think its too early to comment.
Will update after some time..But I believe, it would be fine.
