Airtel has various plans to loot and cheat its consumers, state exchequer, nation and its toiling millions. It has various services like of fixed line broadband, digital tv, mobile phone connections. To loot the consumers they will raise bills on SMS and not through any transparent mean by giving details for which the same are raised. These bills therefore show huge amounts than the amount of the plan and the innocent consumer having no knowledge about his legal rights to know details of the bills pay the same as claimed. Then the corrupt Airtel does not issue any genuine and proper receipt for the amount charged against the said bogus bills and as such not only defraud and cheat the consumers but also the state exchequer where it does not count for what it actually earned and keep the huge amount of payments received as black money to the great loss of the nation and its toiling millions.
The way of their looting and cheating also include that if customer makes the payment for his fixed line broadband connection the same will not be taken in that account and instead would be transferred to their another account like of digital tv and ask the consumer to pay again his bill for fixed line broadband connection even after his having paid the same. If he asks to get the already paid amount from the digital tv account where Airtel alleged to having transferred the same, the Airtel will write to the customer that it can not be done. In Airtel digital tv account where the consumer had no amount to be paid and where the airtel transfers it inspite of that, the amount is not refunded and it is kept criminally shown against payments for its digital tv services which the customer has not enjoyed due to his having got the same disconnected months before due to fraudulent acts of Airtel and his having taken digital connection of some other service provider like Dish TV and having been paying it for 6-7 months for the same. Then if customer makes complaint against this fraud to Telecom Regulatory Authority and others the Airtel will falsely start telling to customer that the excess amount having come wrongly to digital tv account has been sent to his bank account even when the same in reality would never be sent to defraud and cheat the customer. Then again Airtel will start claiming that the customer"s digital tv account is still active with it and even demand further payments from him without bothering that when Dish tv services are being provided to the customer for 6-7 months in place of Airtel service how the Airtel can claim the rental and that too when the customer got this connection disconnected in writing not once or twice but tens of time in Feb. 2018. This shows how daring the Airtel is to commit the looting and cheating and has no fear of punishments for such criminal acts. The similar is the story about mobile bills. In furtherance of its fraud and cheating it will issue 2-3 bills for the same period with different amounts as per its convenience. I have all documents with me in sup[port of the above and I have already filed cases against the Airtel and made police complaints and going to file public interest or other criminal cases against it in large public and national interests. The Airtel may be contributing some amount to the funds of certain political parties and having hand of some influential people over its head to continue these fraudulent and acts of looting and cheating with consumers, state exchequer, nation and its toiling millions but this will not work in courts of law. So people should not go in for taking Airtel connections if they want to be protected against such looting and cheating of Airtel Kamal Jit Chhibber, Advocate
