Airtel is very good in pushing its brand hard into the public. But only when we use it, we understand that it is not as good as it is being branded.
I got a Airtel 4G an year ago but I do not remember the last time I experienced 4G.
Recently, I heard about the open network which shows the signal strength of various towers. I opened it only to find that each and every tower is giving its best signal in the site. But in realty the signal was very weak.
So I tried to make a change only to find the site telling me that it is my phone which is at fault and their signal is best in the world.
Its like a beggar telling he is richest man while every one can see the realty. In the Airtel 4G ads, the girl gets 4G signal where ever she is. I think may be the girl is the 4G signal and since we do not have her with us we are not getting the 4G signal.
If it is what Airtel calls a 4G speed, I prefer to have 2G speed since any 2G will be faster than Airtel 4G. It just lets you down when you most need it. And while every other service provider including government ones provides cash backs and other offers, it is only airtel which does not provide any offers or cash back.
