Airlift is a 2016 Bollywood thriller movie starring Akshay Kumar, Nimrat Kaur, Purab Kohli in the lead characters and directed by Raja Krishna Menon.
In this drama thriller Akshay Kumar is a callous businessman living in Kuwait. Then Iraq invades Kuwait in 1990.
Then he has to become the leader and spokesperson of 170000 men. All those men are evacuated to India in 59 days with the help of the Indian government and Ranjit(Akshay) is the hero of this story. The script is tight, Akshay Kumar is brilliant as always, I particularly liked Nimrat Kaur as Amrita Katyal. The direction, screenplay and cinematography is pretty impressive in this movie.I liked the movie very much and recommend everyone to watch this movie.
