Airlift - the famous historical human evacuation drama based movie directed by Renjith Krishnamenon. The one of lead role is handled by Bollywood action hero Akshay Kumar and heroine role by Nimrat Kaur.The story thread is based on a real incident that takes place in the Iraq- Kuwait war in 90's. In this film Akashay kumar follows a Kuwait businesses man role and Nimrit as a his wife.Accidnetly or to say as fate desires he take up the responsibility of biggest civil rescue operation during the war period.
Even though it's not a suspense thriller but the movie tried to portrait the real heart touching events in a rythamic way.The chemistry between the hero and and the heroine is quite appreciable. The music in this movie is absolutely suitable for the situations.The movie exposes the highs and lows of the human mind, and the presence of mind of an ordinary man. Absolutely guts and will power of the leading role is mind blowing. As an Indian the film makes us proud because thousands of homeless Indians got a chance to return to their motherland.The movie showcases the difficulties that they faced and how they overcome that horrible events.
Truly the movie is a speechless one.
