The best so far. Review on Air Odisha

Recently I booked myself on AirOdisha Flight. After reading the reviews and news items, I thought it to be good to make alternate arrangements in case of need.

So, I went to the Airport fully prepared(to come back in case of anything). I went to the checkin area after the formalities but there was no checkin counter. so I waited thinking they will come at the time of flight. The departure screen was showing scheduled.

Its departure time and no one turned up for checking in. So, as expected, the flight was delayed. So, waited some more time and this time the departure board started showing boarding and delayed at the same time. So, with the permission of police man there, I went out to the sales office.

There I found out that the flight will depart in few minutes. Initially they said sorry but when I pointed out that there was not checkin counter and there is not way I know of the flight and also they didn't bother to call me, they started working.

They prepared their required internal documents in few minutes and tried to check me in when the system didn't work even though its showing there is still 5 mins time. So, they immediately given me a hand written boarding pass and came along with us(there is one more who knows his way and so went to sales office directly and checked himself in).

In the next 5 minutes, we completed our security checks and were in boarding area. We had to wait as it is defense airport and its time for military drills. Since its meal time, they provided us with Sandwich of good quality which is available at airport.

Then when its time for flight they informed us that they didn't get weather clearance for the landing airport, so if the weather didn't clear, they may need to go to next airport(safety first anyway). They promised to drop us back to our destination when the weather is clear.

We were proceeding for boarding along airline security officer in the next 10 minutes, we were informed that they have received the weather clearance and we will land at destination only.

We went to the flight, boarded it, and in no time we were at the destination. Its a UDAN flight and there only two of us passengers in the flight.

Though it wont make any economic sense to operate the flight, they did and in a very good way. They must be appreciated for their hospitality and dedication.

Sometimes they may not be able to fly as other said in their reviews, but when they do they are the best.

P.S.: When you reach the airport, go to their sales office and let them know of your arrival.

They also must make it a point to call the passengers as many may be flying the airline for first time and may not be aware of their procedures.
