I was born a Hindu....as I grew up, I started to dislike the logic of my religion and especially the ideas of multiple gods. I even didnt feel comfortable with the idea of Gods having wives and kids...my personal opinion..NO OFFENCE please... I am CARNIVOROUS and can never be vegetarian...
But I still hate the logic of Afghanistan destroying work of art. I am not mad from religious point of view. I am mad from artistic point of view. I hate Afghanistan. But there is something I hate more than Afghans. I HATE THE HYPOCRITES OF THIS WORLD. I HATE THE WORLD THAT CARES SO MUCH ABT A FEW STATUES AND SO LIL ABT MILLIONS OF HUMANS DYING IN AFGHANISTAN.
I would sacrifice 1 million budha idol and 1 trillion any other idol for one human life. But thousands of human beings dying in Afghanistan due to hunger and disease does not move even one soul in India, US or the world. Maybe the Afghan's have become so angry that they JUST DONT CARE now. They have seen so much death in front of their own eyes that art and culture has no meaning to them. We cant blame them entirely for this. If I would have seen my own ppl die in front of me, (10000s of my ppl to be precise) and see no one else even care about it, why would I care abt some idols and the ppl who make noise abt its destruction.
I would advise the world to start caring more for the suffering humans and a lil less for the work of art cos their is nothing more valueable then human life. Afghans are angry and bitter and hungary. You can appreciate art when u have a gull stomach. You can listen to ppl and be reasonable when you dont see your own ppl dying of hunger and pain and disese and extereme weather condition.
I dont like Afghanistan...I HATE the world...Lets atleast write about the pains of afghanistan. Lets work together to alleviate their extreme pain to some extent. Lets give them a chance to come to a normal state and see if they are not reasonable. I will KILL somebody if I am dying of hunger...Afgans are showing their anger to world....They see the irony. They see the noise on destruction of a few statues and realize that nobody would speak for their 1000000 of dying children everyday.
I AM CURRENTLY DOING A THESIS ON AFGHANISTAN as a part of my school course AND it seems that this has opened my eyes towards them. My heart cries for them and I hate myself, everytime I spend $50 on one lunch att some of the top restaurants here in New York. I am travelling to Afgahanistan in July as part of a team that is preparing a detailed report on Afghanistan.
MY ONLY APPEAL to all of u is
''BECOME HUMAN before becoming HINDU, MUSLIM or CHRISTIAN etc''
Thats the need of the hour.
