Worst ever customer service

Never had a worse experience as I had with ACT internet service provider. As we all have be doing WFH since a couple of months, I decided to get a broadband connection and after checking the plans, I chose ACT. On 31st May, i received a call from their executive and explained me the plans. I told him ok I'll and get back to you but he told me that from the next day which was the starting of a new month, plans will get changed and I may not the get the good plan he offered me.


I asked him, how long will it take for the installation, he confirmed as 2 3 days at max and i said ok and went ahead, made the payment of Rs. 4399 on the same day, 31st May. Next day he calls and told my documents didnt get updated so he asked me to send the documents to him and he will upload on my behalf. I sent the documents to him and after some time he confirmed that he uploaded the documents. But till 7th of June, installation wasnt done.


Till 7th whenever I called him asking when will it be done, he responded stating he'll check and get back as their backend team haven't done their part of the job. Finally on 7th, I told him that I dont want the connection from them as I got other service provider who will do the installation on the next day itself so asked him to cancel my request and provide refund. He said ok and confirmed it'll take 10-15 days for the refund. I called him on 8th June and asked if refund process was initiated, he said yes it was initiated on 7th June. Till 19th, i didnt get any refund. I called his supervisor Girish(Bangalore), he never picked my call and responded to my messages on Whatsapp whereas he had read them( i have the chats with the executive and Girish).


I called the callcentre on 19th, and got to know refund process wan never initiated and the lady on call confirmed she escalated the matter and I'll get the refund within 7 to 10 days(I have the call recording). Till 1st July, i didnt get the refund and then i sent a mail to ACT's mail id. I received an acknowledgement mail which stated that they have received my mail(i have the acknowledgement mail). Yet again, no response. I sent a chaser on 2nd July, again received an acknowledgement mail(i have the 2nd acknowledgement mail as well). Dont know whom to reach now for my hard earned money to be refunded from these scary people. Calling the call centre is of no good as it hardly gets connected. Will never recommend even my enemies to go for ACT ISP.
