I thought of trying out this new joint which opened up in Marathalli right near my old college and was quite impressed. I loved the place as it looked very lively! It also had a Live counter where they prepare some of the custom foods fresh in front of your eyes and serve it to you which assures you of freshness and something new for a change.
The place is well decorated, but have tiny chair. Comfortable cushions but tiny chairs which could have been bigger. They have seating arrangement for variety of groups such a couple, small group and large groups. Also for coming to this place it is recommended that you book or make reservations prior to coming or else you will have to wait for quite some time, up to half an hour because this place generates a lot of customers on a daily basis.
The food is quite good, the starters literally filled me up and then there is the complimentary drink. Starters range from all sorts of chicken and mutton items and also a good variety for veg. Additional to that depending on the season like how I had gone for the seafood season, the Live counter was serving shark, octopus and various other exotic delicacies which I initially was very apprehensive in consuming.
The think which I did not like was the pricing, extremely high when I had gone around 750 rupees per head. Now, even though it is supposed to be a once in a while visit it still turns out to be quite expensive, even worse if you're treating:P
The restaurant constantly plays pleasant music and the staff are also very cheery and helpful. At some occasions some of the staff members start off with their singing and dancing to entertain the customer which is a treat to watch.
At the end of the day, I feel this is one of those places which should be visited on a rare basis, but a must visit, once you've collected enough money for it that is:P
