Unfortunately I took connection from this pathetic service provider. The service was based on wireless connection. I used to travel overseas very frequently so I opted for this for my parents and people at home. Knowing the pathetic customer service and looting corporates in our country, I very clearly requested for prepaid connection option so that no so called hidden strings attached.
Advance payment of 3000 was charged orally stating it is for modem and two months rental but the receipts we received was having no description whatsoever. When we received the bill, it was shockingly for post paid, on contacting customer service(another pathetic) I was told it will be rectified on the next bill, which never happened. We requested for disconnection with all clear mails and evidences in place. Even after repeated reminders and calls they never send anyone to collect the modem but instead charged me that too.
Worst thing is, similar to other cases they continued billing me even after making the complete payment of last bill(for them billing never stops). Calling them several times and sending mails did not help, they kept sending bills. I exhausted all possible communication channels and completely understood that they know what they are doing and is more of an organized unethical trade practice and looting customers, they pretend to behave legally but intentionally they use all legal loopholes and put all process to loot customers.
After several months they started sending legal notice for so-called non payment. Again none of the mails was responded. I took help of Akosha(legal team that helps consumers) and this well planned looters never heeded to their repeated representations.
Worst does not stop here. They shared my number with so-called collection agents who does not know even English and started threatening me and calling in the mid of my meetings and kept disturbing me systematically. All these callers have a huge list given by these people and claim themselves as advocates(!) calling from Delhi high court. None of their number work for calling back.
The experience for getting connection from this looters(I do not really want to call them a company or even a service provider) went pathetic as they closed all their office and service here in our location. Not sure how TRAI allowed and allowing such practices and so-called company to even function.
If people at a better position face this sort of threat and horrible treatment, I really wonder the state of normal, simple and humble citizens. Beware, never ever get any sort of services from these unethical looting company and get it to the torture from thugs! If someone is praising these people either they are sponsored or they are innocent customer waiting for a nightmare, which they will experience once they apply for disconnection.
Finally they tricked us to make payment and stopped calling only when we paid for all their illegal billing and for their uncollected modems and wiring. Short term and short sighted looting may seem profitable but soon these unethical people will learn lessons. Time limitation of people and their limited knowledge of their own rights, irresponsible government, lousy legal system are the power of such groups.
Depressing to see such unethical practices in such a bigger way in broad light. We had a horrible episode and nightmare for selecting this "service provider." Nice lesson learned at a price! If known, none will never ever avail any of their service from these cheaters. If someone is praising, either they must be sponsored reviewers or innocent customer yet to know the true face of these cheaters!
