Originality:

People are busy with full-day commitments, movie halls, parks and restaurants are packed to capacity, bookings to various places is in full force, gift items are being sold like hot cakes [and so are the cakes, being sold just like them] and couples are found on every nook and corner of the street. The world is celebrating, are you?

Just as most of you would like to gift your Valentine something inexpensive yet sweet and philosophical, a thought on the same is essential. The simple thought would be to buy some latest music CD's but giving Himesh Reshammiya's tracks would just spoil your day. So just to make things simpler, I advice all you people in love to buy the love of your life a music CD of yesteryear hit Aashiqui, starring Big Boss winner Rahul Roy as the lead.

Girls are a game on this day. Only God knows what they will be upto next. While you may feel to have conquered the world on getting her, beware, coz their is no guarantee that even the most in-depth love can survive the girl's wishes. This album proves just that. Not convinced? Read on to find out why!

The romantic album embarks its journey with the soulful 'Nazar Ke Saamne', a melodious duet by Kumar Sanu and Anuradha Paudwal. It expresses the feelings of two people madly in love with each other, both of whom have lent their heart to the other. It makes you nostalgic while you listen to this, but a sweet memory runs through your mind all the way. A masterpiece by Nadeem-Shravan, it is as soothing as silk. This is the one that you would love to hum while on a soft dance with you know whom.

'Dil Ka Aalam' follows next and engulfs you with sheer beauty. The composition bears a trademark Nadeem-Shravan stamp visible all through, while Kumar Sanu ensures that the listener takes no time to be completely involved with the song, and make him think about his beloved. This is one track that no one can ever get bored of, and what better a day to sing it than on the Valentine's? Believe me, he/she is gonna love it, and the idea is nowhere less than being romantic...

The effect of love is continued with 'Dheere Dheere Se'. A duet by Kumar Sanu and Anuradha Paudwal, it makes your heart pine for your sweetheart, and makes you imagine only the two of you, sitting in a secluded corner of the house, and just stare continuously into each other's eyes without speaking a single word. A must to listen with your Valentine in the evening, in complete silence, in your own sweet world! The feeling is awesome, with just two lovers in isolation without anything else to bother about.

Life is incomplete without love. Just as you need to breathe to live, you need a soul mate to actually live that life. The thought looks plain simple on paper, but 'Bas Ek Sanam Chahiye' conveys it in the most convincing manner one could have thought of. Love life is laden with sorrow and trouble, but if that is a deterrent, being together with your lover is a greater asset. You may reach all your destinations and achieve all the success in life, but without your better-half, your life will be incomplete.. And both Kumar Sanu and Anuradha Paudwal will testify that.

The search for love is carried forward with 'Jaan-e-jigar jaaneman', where even the thought of being separated with his partner makes the lover feel the pain within him. So madly are they in love with each other that they consider it better to die rather than leave apart. Your boy/girlfriend will surely be more emotionally attached to you if you sing it to him/her with your heart, and actually mean it. If your love is true, not even death can separate you, as your promise of being with each other will be duly fulfilled after death...

No one in the world is as important to you as your sweetie, and you are more than willing to forget all others just for his/her sake. 'Main Duniya Bhula Doonga' expresses that in a manner as beautiful as it can get. Without the other's presence, no traits, achievements, no deeds matter to you, and you are willing to sacrifice all your happiness if you get one chance to hug and kiss him/her. And no power in the world can tear you apart once you both are into each other's arms.

'Tu Meri Zindagi Hai' follows next in a tradition Kumar Sanu style, with the kind of vocals that only he can lend to these type of smooth and slow numbers. Like all others, it’s both the singing and the music that leaves a mark, and it talks about the after-effects of the confession of the first love. It brilliantly portrays the feelings of a lover after he has proposed to his girl, and she has accepted the same. The innocence of first love cannot be conveyed in a way better than this.. The dear of his joining in is an added bonus...

The end to the album seems near when you encounter 'Mera Dil Tere Liye', as it surprisingly becomes slightly repetitive for the listener. Nothing takes away the sheen and the sweetness of the tunes of Nadeem-Shravan, but somewhere down the line, this sole Udit Narayan duet with Anuradha pales in comparison with the others of the album repertoire. Nevertheless, as said, its not a bad number, but definitely breaks the rhythm of each one turning out to be better than the previous one, till now.

And finally, the melodious album ends on a sad note with a fantastic composition, 'Ab Tere Bin Jee Lenge Hum', where the guy admits that he is heart-broken but is determined to live even without the flower of his life. Gone are the days of tu jo mujhe na mili mar jaaunga main sanam, and in comes ab maine jaana tujhko berahem... Considering Kumar Sanu [a guy] singing it, only goes on to show that girls are NEVER trustworthy. They will give you all the happiness in life, make you feel special, make you love even the silly things on earth, make your heart alive with her passion, but there's a catch.. At the end, when her means are satisfied, you'll have to go about saying.. zeher zindagi ka pee lenge hum.....

Hopefully the promise has been fulfilled and guys out there have realized the hazards of having even a steady girlfriend. Doesn't go to say that the above-mentioned theory always holds true, but depending on girls is the last thing that one would like to do. Anyways here's wishing all the people in or even out of love a very Happy Valentine's Day. May you never be betrayed by the one whose heart you wear up on your sleeve?

For all those sans any relationship, there's no need to lose heart. Always remember this:

Never search your happiness in others..

it will make you feel alone!

Always search it in yourself...

it will make you happy even when you are alone!

PROUD TO BE SINGLE!!

CHEERS!!

Leaked out...™
