The main points in this review:

- The repainting contract, they sign with you, does not include smoothening of the walls or the ceiling. Though the sales guy tells you they will do everything. They will paint the house without low quality "puty work" and when you go for a high-end paint like Asian paint's Aspira, all the inconsistencies get highlighted. The walls will look like a bed of worms.

- It is difficult to define the quality standards, I agree. Their quality of work does not match with the local labour available in cities like Pune. The finish will make you ashamed of your house.

- They are very proud of their "dehati" standards, they think they are delivering quality work.

Now, the bigger picture.

The pictures that I posted will tell the story themselves, but I still want to narrate it to warn people.

It starts with a fine sales pitch. They have sophisticated machines for sanding that can smoothen the walls like no one else can. They offer a “branded service” with highly skilled labour, and so on.

Once they start working, on the very first day, the things start to go wrong. Let alone the “sophisticated machines”(they don't know how to use them), the labour that they provide seriously under qualify for working in a city like Pune. There is no hint of process. This labour is being sourced from smaller towns with questionable skills. The quality simply does not match the city standards. They do everything by hand. The finish that they give to your house will make you a subject of humiliation. Your money goes down the drain.

When you question them on the indents on the walls and the bumps they left on the ceiling, they remind you that the “branded” repainting service they are offering, does not include smoothening those inconsistencies. That is civil work. Out of the scope of painting. They will keep reminding you that their contract does not include smoothening of the walls or the ceiling.

I did raise a dispute. The so-called manager sent the sales guy again to our house. He came, spent some time with the workers, and left without informing us. Later, he confirmed in the WhatsApp group that he had informed us about the limitations of the paint work, which was contrary to all his sales pitch. The stupidity of the “branded service” does not need any better explanation.

Please refer to the photos of my ceiling and the walls. This is a sample of their finished work. I am being told that this is the limitation of the contract.

They scrubbed the ceiling at places, and did not even touch the other areas, making it even uglier and uneven. But these guys don't feel a thing. This is good, too good in fact, following their "dehati" standards. This is the best they can do.

My main points of complaint:

- Bad puty work and uneven surface.

- Corners are far from smooth, they are bumpy.

- The ceilings are in pathetic condition. Half-heartedly done work.

- All bumpy, inconsistent.

- Sales pitch is carefully designed to fool customers.
