Director Vipul shah's Aankhen is indeed a pleasure to our aankhen ! A well thought and made film , takes one through a journey of exciting and hilarious plots !
Nobody's perfect , Vijay Rajput is the schizophrenic bank manager of Vilasrao bank gets fired due to his uncontrolled blaring temper ! In order to take revenge Rajput plans to rob this very bank but cannot conquer the quest alone ! Walking on the streets he comes across Neha who is a teacher in a blind school !
Bang - Rajput finds his main element to play the game of robbery !He kidnaps Neha's brother and hence she has to be a part of his gameplan ! By a fake workshop advertisement he manages to get hold of three blind men ! Arjun who is ready to move ahead in life , Illias a local train singer/ begger who wants to sing in hollywood style one day and Vishwas the exciting sixth sense man , each being offered 50 laks ! thus begins the prelimnary / training round and so has the sizzling moments ! Hold on to your seats for not one but many funny scenes !
After days of hard work and fun and frolic comes the main day ! Do things work as they had practised ? Does neha get her brother back ? Does Rajput get his treasure or is betrayed ! In order to find out the survivors and the loosers Aankhen is a must see !!!!
Amitabh oozes screen presence - the more I rate his performance fewer words are left - indeed a mastermind in acting too !
Arjun Rampal does come across as a promising actor manages his plates well !
Paresh rawal is the guru of humor - without him aankhen wudn't have the sizzling effect !
Akshay kumar leaves one speechless - he is the added asset to the movie and the man behind the mastermind ;0) ! Sushmita sen has given her best to the role - without doubt looking simple and gorgeous !
The first half of the movie is fantabulous and makes you want more ! No one suffers through an endless list of songs ! Its a treat seeing Bipasha Basu in special appearance playing Akki's ladylove ! The movie slows down in the second half but with an unexpected climax !
So how about giving your Aankhen a treat ? ;0) !
