Aamir Khan certainly is one of the best actors in Bollywood. His movies which I think are the best are
1) SARFAROASH - Aamir Khan has shown his importance in Bollywood in this film. He has made this film a masterpiece by his wonderful acting along with Sonali Bendre. Here he plays the role of a police officer who fights against terrorists.
2) QAYAMAT SE QAYAMAT TAK - This is just a typical love story which is combined with a lot of comedy and action. This movie may be the most adventurous among the Aamir Khan movies. Juhi Chawla co-stars in this entertaining movie.
3) LAGAAN - The story of this movie meaning the tax is based on cricket and is supposed to be a happened in a village under British role. Here Aamir Khan has put up an award winning performance with debutant Gracy Singh. This movie was even nominated for the Oscars.
4) GHULAM - This movie shows Aamir Khan as a gangster who changes his ways after seeing his lover's(Rani Mukherji) brother being killed by the head of his gang. Even his brother was killed by them. This movie is an action packed entertainer with some good songs also.
5) JO JEETA WOHI SIKHANDER - In this movie, Aamir Khan plays the role of an ambitious boy who loves a rich girl while Ayesha Jhulka plays the role of a neighbourhood girl who loves him. The song'Pehla Nasha' of the film is one of the best I have ever heard.
The movies ANDAAZ APNA APNA, RANGEELA, DIL CHAHTA HAI and ISHQ were not included as Aamir Khan was not the leading actor in the film. In these films he had shared the spotlight.
