Earlier when Allen was not fully fledged, AAKASH institute came out in the market.Earlier there was less competition amongst these Educational Institutes. AAKASH got famous and gradually it started becoming famous for its Test Series. And so it was the name and fame, that led me to join Aakash Institute.
Earlier in the beginning we had to pay some 1500/- for some Pre joining just to make ourself clear as to how the Faculty teaches, and what sort of performance they have. I say, it was THE BEST. I felt as if I was about to join the best Institute, and started making pre plans as to what i'll acheive, once I pass out my 12th Class.
As we had joined, it was very scheduled, very tight, we were happy studying. Solving problms, concepts got cleared. Everything was tuned as hoped.
Regular Tests were conducted.
But after a month, the faculty that had been teaching us, VANISHED. Instead new teachers were called, and randomised syllabus started. Now there was a turn in our Interests. The teachers were teaching in'Local Dialect', how can one expect a tutor teaching Biology in Bhojpuri, and it did literally happen. We thought that this would not make much of a difference, but things came into light when we got to know that these teachers were mere BSc graduated.
Now, whenever we had doubts, then we never got better expected responses from those teachers. Nor could we join other institutes in the middle of everything. Still we managed studying and giving regular tests.
I had the DLPs also, yes, the DLP is worth taking.
We always have friends who are not able to afford the prices of such Coaching Classes, but they should better prefer DLPs and Test Series, which are actually helpful and enhancing to the students.
Administration
On the part of administration, I have'test series' and'DLP' which are a thumbs up.
These are my views on the basis of what we suffered, at least this is what I felt, at our Branch of Aakash.
